| | | Wedding Quote for September wedding | | | | | I had a consultation with a 38 year old bride yesterday. She is using the David's Bridal apple red for her color. It is still a very popular color and I love it. She wanted her bouquet to be monochromatic. We decided that a hand-tied bouquet would go better with her dress. There are not alot of flowers that are a true red. I suggested red roses, red ranunculus, and red hypericum berries. I love the hypericum berries in the fall. They are a great filler and they are inexpensive. I also suggested that maybe she do a bouquet that has a two-tone red. I have done this before and it is awesome. A mix of a Red Freedom rose and a Black Magic or Black Barraca rose looks so awesome together. She wanted her bouquet to be a little different from the bridesmaids. The bridesmaids dresses are apple red and she wanted a smaller version of her bouquet. She had stated earlier in the conversation that she might want to throw some pink into the mix. I suggested that we use pink ranunculus instead of red so it will break up the color against the red dress. I think that it is going to look awesome. I suggested a clutch of hypericum berries for the bouts as it is a little less expensive that a rose bout. I really like a simpler bout and corsage. My look is a little more modern. As I always do, I quoted her several different prices points to fit her budget. She was a very easy going bride and I hope she decides to use me. |
